civil charges, no Sub-Assistant Surgeon has as yet been placed in medical charge of any station in the North-Western Provinces, and praying His Honor to appoint such of them as he may consider competent and deserving to an independent charge. The memorial is couched in temperate and respectful terms, and possesses all the force of a good case ably represented. We heartily wish the memorialists all success.
